REMINDER: Whatsapp To End Support For Windows, iOS And Lower Android Versions

I want to believe you remember how Whatsapp withdrew their support for Blackberry OS in 2017, Android version that are below 2.3.3 and Windows Phone 7 in 2016.

The company recently confirmed it will no longer support Windows Phones, just as they are ending support for some versions of Android and iOS.

Beginning from 31st December, 2019, WhatsApp will no longer work on Windows Phones, and then one year from now, Whatsapp engineers will end their support for devices running lower versions of Android and iOS.

Some may be asking why WhatsApp chose to end support for Windows Phone before 2020, well it is inline with Microsoft's choice to end support for their Operating System. You wouldn't expect the visitor to sit put when the owner of the house is locking the door right?

About the other Operating Systems, WhatsApp will no longer work in devices that are running Android versions that are lower than 2.3.7 beginning February 1, 2020.

Additionally, devices that are powered by iOS 7 or lower versions will not be compatible with WhatsApp starting from 1st February, 2020.

In any case, since WhatsApp will not be creating for these Operating Systems, a few features that are presently accessible may stop working or functioning properly on those devices even before the due date, so you should upgrade to a new device to continue enjoying Whatsapp.

How To Subscribe To Airtel Binge 2GB Data For N500

Airtel has again introduced another offer they call Airtel Binge Plan. So I did not take it seriously when I first got the text message from "Binge" but when they kept resending the same message, then I knew they are very serious about this Binge Plan.

Here's what the message reads:

"Introducing Airtel Binge Plans. Get 2GB Daily for just N500. Dial *141*504# now to activate Or simply Dial *141# for more options."

How To Activate Binge Plan

It is very simple and easy to activate the Airtel Binge Plan. Simply dial *141*504# as seen in the message

After dialing the code, you will be shown 2 options. You can either subscribe for 1GB for N350 or 2GB for N500. You should be sure to have the equivalent airtime for the subscription.

When you have successfully subscribed, you can start browsing the internet, stream videos and download.

Note that the offer is valid for 24 hours (1 day)

My View:

If you ask me what I think about this offer, I'll say it is not meant for everyone. It is only for those who have urgent file to download and doesn't want to use the normal data plans. It's validity period of 1 day spoilt it all.

What do you think?

Airtel Finally Reduced 500MB For N25 Night Plan

It's a sad moment for Airtel users as Airtel has reduced their years long night data bundle. If you can remember, Airtel NG used to give 1.5GB for N50 before it was cut down to 500MB. Yet again they have reduced it to 250MB for N25.

Just last month Glo suspended its Special Data Offer, MTN recently increased the amount of its night plan data from 250MB for N25 to N50. Meanwhile, 9Mobile have been up with presenting silly data plans to its users.

Night browsing and downloaders on Airtel network were surprised about seeing the unannounced decrease in the Night offer despite the fact that it still shows N25 for 500MB on SmartTrybe Menu. I want to believe that most night users were disappointed particularly the persons who have lots of pending downloads.

Currently, the only data plan you can subscribe to download files, movies and more is the Airtel Download Bundle because it is meant for just downloading, althouhg you can also use it to watch movies. This Airtel Download Bundle is valid only 24 hours.

How To Activate Airtel Download Bundle
It is very simple and easy to subscribe. Simply dial *141*354#, it is valid for 24 hours only.

Dooms Day: Gionee Shutting Down Soon?

The Mighty Gionee is falling down… Gionee has been known for making smartphones with tremendous battery capacity yet Gionee has not really enjoyed the popularity as with other similar companies like Vivo, OPPO and different smartphones producing brands from China.

Their troubles began in 2017 when reports had it that the organization owed an aggregate of CNY 20.2 billion (about $3 billion) to 648 banks. The organization issues began when the owner and Chairman of Gionee Liu lost a CNY 1 billion in a gambling club.

Liu conceded in the meeting that Gionee's total debt add up to 17 billion yuan ($2,447,065,000), with 10 billion yuan($1,439,450,000) of this owed to banks, 5 billion yuan($719,725,000) to upstream providers and around 2 billion to advertiser.

All things considered, it shows up the Chinese firm is at last bankrupt as there are theories it is closing down its Chinese arm of the company. While there isn't any official proclamation backing this up, a quick look at their Chinese site shows it is down and has been so for a long while now.

This may almost certainly be the stopping point for Gionee as they have formally closed down their chinese site.

WhatsApp Is Coming To iPad With Split Chat Feature

I believe as an iPad user, you must have noticed that unlike Telegram, WhatsApp right now is not available for iPad, however something is going to change as WhatsApp is making plans to extend their messaging platform to iPad.

Reports from WAbetainfo indicates that WhatsApp is taking a shot at developing an official WhatsApp for Apple iPad.

The texting application on iPad will have standout features from the portable version of the app alongside an overhauled interface for the tablet's UI and bigger presentation of texts and icons.

The highlights of the WhatsApp on iPad will include split chat, which will enable users to send and check messages for more than one chat at the same time.

The iPad version of WhatsApp will have almost every of the features for iOS, including voice call and also has the function of locking the application with Touch ID Authentication.

Although the leaked report indicates that WhatsApp for iPad is yet to be accessible, support for WhatsApp Messenger on iPad could be included in the next beta update via TestFlight.

At the moment, we are hanging tight in anticipation of the full rollout of WhatsApp Dark Mode as earlier published on Sooloaded Blog.

How To Accumulate 10GB Data Bundle For N2000 On 9Mobile

9mobile is undoubtedly among the best networks in Nigeria with regards to fast internet access. Be that as it may, they are also among the top network providers with high cost of data purchase. When you check through their subscription plan, you'll observe that 2.5GB costs N2000.

What this means is that 9Mobile customers will spend at least N8000 to get 10GB data bundle. It is because of these too much cost of data bundles Sooloaded Blog is here, to make sure you have access to the internet for almost free.

In this post, I will like to show you how you can get an equivalent of 10GB on 9mobile for just N2000 instead of N8000.

How Does 9Mobile 10GB for N2000 Work?

Recall that late 2017, 9Mobile introduced Ramadan Special offer. Which gives you 5GB for N1000 and 1GB for N200 which is valid for 3 days. This data plan was widely accepted by 9mobile users until they decided to add it to their current data plans. What I like about this data plan is that you can subscribe to it as many times as you want.

If you understand what I'm trying to explain, you'll see that you can now use N2000 to get 10GB worth of data bundle for 30 days by resubscribing to the 1GB data plan for N200 every 3 days.

How To Subscribe To 9mobile 10GB For N2000

  • Firstly, recharge your SIM with at least N200 9Mobile airtime.
  • Dial *929*10# to buy the data plan
  • Dial *228# to check your information balance

Although we have received several complaints of this data plan being SIM selective, most of those who complained were able to subscribe to the data plan during the weekends like Friday to Sunday. I advice you also try that if your SIM is not eligible for the 1GB for N200 data plan on 9Mobile.

Please share your testimonial if you've activated it.
