Can You Still Use A Touch Screen Broken Smartphone? (See How)

It's the truth moving around with a broken Smartphone can be disgusting if totally damaged to a length that you cannot see the screen let alone use the screen touch feature. However, the files on the Smartphone will still remain intact in some occasions if the Smartphone can still be powered on.

You may want to abandon your smartphone if it doesn't fall under the category of top-class smartphones and get a new one. But if you are moving with an expensive smart device, and it peradventure dropped off with the wind screen broken to an extent you cannot access the screen then you have to source for means to retrieve your data or files on the device.

In this discussion we will be introducing two (2) apps which you can use to retrieve your data and files from your device. They are  USB OTG and AIRDROID.

If your touch screen is broken but the display is still working (i.e. you can see it), you can fix it by using a USB OTG (On The Go) and a mouse to connect to your device. A USB OTG connects mobile devices to other devices.
Basically, newly introduced top-class Android devices have a mini-USB and you need to connect it to the mouse that has a USB.

Once you have the mouse connected, you can unlock your device whether you have a pattern, PIN or password. We recommend using passwords anyways because they are highly secured.

Now that your phone is unlocked, you can connect it to your computer and either transfer the data you need to your microSD memory or connect it directly to your PC and transfer the files there.

AirDroid is a free app available for smartphones and PC. It allows you connect your Smartphone directly to your PC. With AirDroid Android app, you can easily manage your phone on your PC and do the entire necessary thing you have to do to revive your broken Smartphone’s files.

With Airdroid you can reply to quick chats and do other cool stuffs even as you are struggling to retrieve your files on your PC.

AirDrop is like an alternative Smartphone, you can easily perform the exact function you would love to carry out on your phone when it’s still in it normal state right on AirDroid.

If you can't see your screen, you might need to get a VNC program. There are plenty on the market and you should be sure to pick one that's safe and free. These programs bring your Android interface onto your PC so you can control it from there.

In order to use these programs, you'll need to download the program to your PC but also on your Android device.

There are some paid programs out there too but usually include more features than this. So if you want something more extensive you can grab one of these instead.
