How To Restore Your Lost Imei Number - Part One


Hi, today we're going to learn how to Restore IMEI number in Android Devices,

What is IMEI? International Mobile Equipment Identifier


First of all you need to know that when you lost your phone IMEI then you won't have a network signal on your phone and with that you can't make calls

How to Verify whether your IMEI is working or Lost


Simply open your phone dial pad and dial *#06# if your imei code is not stated as 00000000000000 or INVALID then this tutorial is not for you

WHY IS MY PHONE AFFECTED AND NOT SOMEONE ELSE'S PHONE?


You want the latest software or android update right ?

This is because of some times when you are trying to Flash Custom ROMs on your Device it can lead you in this trouble,

to avoid errors please make sure all software aretestrun on a test phone before running them on your device

Now what is Custom Rom?


Briefly Custom ROMs give you the opportunity to explore brand new designs and UI ( User Interface) They can also offer new and very impressive functionality.

The Other Rom type is called Stock ROM, an officially launched software by your phone manufacturer

Now follow the simple step below to restore your phone imei


First find your Default IMEI no this will be on your receipt or just remove your phone's battery you can find it over there and for Dual sim phone there will be two imei respectively. just note them down on a Paper


Now dial *#*#3646633#*#* on your dial pad to go to the Engineer Mode (it may not work for some devices) you can also download MTK Engineer Mode App From Play store HERE (App and Dial pad both will work in the same way)

Now, Open the the MTK Engineer mode app and swipe left side to go into Connectivity.

In the Connectivity click on the CDS information.


Tap on the Radio information.


you will be able to see Phone 1 and Phone 2 (if you have a Dual Sim Phone)

Just click on Phone 1 first. then enter the Command as AT +EGMR=1,7,"your first imei" (Put a Space between AT and +, Like AT +EGMR=1,10,"your imei") and then tap on SEND AT COMMAND it will show you that command sent.


Now press back button, RESTART your phone (put it on airplane mode for 8 secs and switch off again) and Tap on Phone 2 (if you have a Dual Sim phone) and Type AT +EGMR=1,10,"second imei"and tap on send at command.

Now Just Restart you device and enjoy now Sim Card will Display the Network in the status bar.

You can see your IMEI by pressing *#06#
