Whatsapp Now Allow Users Share All Types Of File With Friends

WhatsApp is currently testing a new feature which will make it possible for you to share all types of file either on your Android, iOS or PC. At the moment the feature is only available to a few selected users as it's still in test mode. This was revealed on Twitter.

Whatsapp users were only able to share PDF files, Pictures, GIFs, Videos and Music with friends before now. Currently, sharing of all other files type will soon be made official. You will be able to share Apk files, Zip files, Rar files etc on Whatsapp.

If you happen to be using a modded version of Whatsapp like GBWhatsApp then you should already be enjoying this feature as it has been available for quite some time already.

The new File sharing feature will allow you to send any type of files you can think of at all and it currently enables users to share a maximum file size of 100MB for Android users, 128MB for iOS users, & 64MB for Desktop users.

How To Become Whatsapp Beta Tester

Beta Testers are always the first set of users to test new features of Whatsapp before it will eventually be rolled out to regular users. You can also become a Whatsapp Beta tester too pending when this feature will be rolled out to the regular version. To become a Whatsapp Beta Tester:

  • Just open your Playstore
  • Locate or search for Whatsapp
  • Scroll down to where you will see "Become a Beta Tester
  • And finally tap "I'm IN"

Within some seconds, you will automatically get a new Whatsapp Beta update and you'll be among the first set to get latest Whatsapp features/update before rolling out to the regular version.

I hope this helps? If you have any question concerning this, please let us know and we'll answer you.
