Opera Mini Browser Now Has Offline Files Sharing Feature - See How To Use It

Opera mini which is one of the major web browsers currently has introduced sharing feature in its most recent updates, making it the first major browser to present files sharing feature without any need for internet connection.

With the latest opera browser, you can now send pictures, videos, musics, zip and other files without connecting to the internet. I am pretty sure this will spare you some data bundles.

When describing how the file sharing process works, Opera said on their blog:
"Opera Mini creates a secure private network connection between devices via a direct Wi-Fi connection. This guarantees a successful transfer of files at great speed — 200 times faster than Bluetooth."

Easy Way To Send And Receive Files Via Opera Mini Browser

  • Download the latest version of Opera Mini Browser or Update to the most recent version. Click Here to download on PlayStore if you don't have it or want to update.
  • To begin sending or accepting files, go to File Sharing in the menu and choose "Send" or "Receive".
  • It will show a QR code that you will scan using a nearby device that also has the latest version of Opera Mini Browser.
  • When the file has been transferred successfully, notification will be sent to the sender, the receiver will now have access to the file in the Received tab that will appear in Opera Mini Browser.
